Kase Printing, Inc. was incorporated in July 1992. We’ve been in business more than 20 years. We’ve been through a number of business cycles, so we know how it feels when the economy is robust—as well as what it feels like when it’s in the tank. We have also experienced the tremendous changes that have occurred in our industry itself. When we started 20 years ago, we were shooting hard copy originals with a process camera to make film negatives for plates, or we made direct image plates with an electrostatic plate maker. If you entered the industry after the turn of the 21st century, there’s a very good chance that you don’t know anything about what you just read.

 

 

Innovation and change have been absolutely amazing during the years that we’ve been in business. I like to think that part of the reason we’re still around is because, rather than shying away from innovation and change, we’ve embraced it—or at least those aspects of it that made sense for us. Technology isn’t cheap and spending money presents risks, but we’ve learned that standing pat isn’t an option. Keeping up with innovation and change have kept us competitive in an extremely competitive marketplace.

 

While having a modern and efficient manufacturing operation is certainly very important to the survival of a printing company, far more important is the quality of the service that is provided to a company’s clients. Since inception, we have not taken our eye off the ball when it comes to providing service to our clients. Without clients, there is no company, and we are thankful for the work we get every day no matter how challenging it is.

 

In order to meet the daily demands, there is absolutely no substitute for a staff that is highly skilled and very motivated. At the time of this writing, I can tell you that I have never been more satisfied and confident in our company roster—top to bottom—than I am today. I have the utmost respect and admiration for our management team. They’re a collection of industry veterans who have been around the block a few times. Together as a cohesive group, they produce the quality that our customers expect and they get it done—on time and within budget. They are real pros, and I appreciate the work that they do every day.
